Like, a big mountain top, house size telescope?” That question motivated photographer Reube… A team of skiers and filmmakers travel to the high arctic to document one of the planet’s rarest events – a total solar eclipse. An expedition based on Reuben Krabbe’s grand vision to capture an image of a skier against a solar eclipse. In 2015, Reuben Krabbe and a team of skiers traveled to the Arctic Circle to ski remote mountains and shoot a total solar eclipse while doing so. Battling extreme weather conditions, they made the long, arduous trek to Svalbard, one of only two places in the world where the total solar eclipse could be seen.
